Went to the gun show here in Des Moines this past weekend and after speaking with several of the vendors/LGS that had tables it sounds like there's more supplyset to arrive in the next couple of weeks. No specifics on the type or exactly how much but they did seem optimistic. Normal supply though is still a year away barring any legislative hurdles.

Curious if anyone elsewhere in the country is hearing the same thing.

Everyone I talk to says they have plenty of stuff ordered but a lot of it is on backorder status. No one I've talked with has heard anything definite from their distributors as far as stock coming in though. Some stuff is certainly coming in but how far it can be spread around is the problem....with all those outstanding orders who gets what and how much? American ammo makers seem to be running steady just to try to fill demand, imports would help but no one seems to know what might be in the import chain or how long it could be tied up in customs.

I was at the LGS last Friday and they said they get whatever is sent to them. They have no idea what it will be until it arrives. That days shipment never arrived so I suppose their vendor didn't have anything to send.
They are still selling what they have at current prices-No Gouging.

Back in late Dec I purchased 1,000 rounds of Wolf 223 thinking I could cash in with someone wanting to pay me more than what I paid. I do not even own a rifle in that caliber.
Later on I thought maybe I could use it as partial trade on a handgun. So I went to the shop to see what they had in the case. They had a few handguns but nothing that interested me.

While looking around I heard them say they had no 223 on hand at all. So I offered to sell them what I had. I gave them a price and they agreed to it. On 1,000 rounds I made a whopping $17.00 profit.
