I have seen a few rifles with the single point sling attacjments on them located on the "buffer tube".

What are you guys using for this and where did you get it?

Links??

Thanks

Black Hawk makes 1 point slings. A 1 point sling is no good if you are short because your muzzle will drag against the ground whenever you bend over. I suggest a 3 point sling instead. It is more comfortable and practical.

Also a single point is called a ball breaker for a reason.

I had one for about 10 minutes.

If you were "in-country" and were constantly carrying it, and only letting it down
to stop and talk or something, that would be OK.

But carrying it that way was a real nut-buster for sure.

I reverted to a 2 point via a cool deal I got from Tacticool. Using a 2 point
to steady the weapon from a standing position is a good thing as well...

I'm very well versed in the single point slings. I have them on all my AR's I was just curious what you folks were using for them on the 15-22's.

Thanks for the info and I'm sure someone will benefit from it, but IMO single point is the only way to go for the training and transitions I practice for.

I am looking for the attachment that some of you have on the "buffer tube" I have a number of the Blackhawk single point slings already.

Thanks

I am running a two point QD sling, but maybe this helps:

The MOE version of the 15-22 comes from the factory with a QD Sling Mount on both sides of the tube - is that what you are referring to?

MOE version Copy

I have a regular version.
I got Uncle Mike's detachable push button swivals.
I did'nt have the cahonas to drill myself, had a smith do it, came out perfect.

The Uncle Mikes comes with a package of 2, install both with some kind of two part iron glue stuff.

Yes you do drill stright thru.

Pretty neat accually.

Regards.

I'm running the KZ sling adapter from Botach Tactical and it works well, especially for the price. The adapter alone runs $20, but at $26 you can get a single point sling also.

Rifle Sling Package 4

They also have an ambidextrous one that runs a little more, and I kind of wish I went this route, but I'm still happy with the bang-for-the-buck out of the more basic sling/adapter package.

I will be ordering myself a KZ this week, but until then I used some rope, Prusik Knot and a slice connector that is used for decoys.
