Didn't know where to post this question, so I put it here. I apoligize.

I was reading about a Smith single stack 9mm, 3913. But it is not made any more. Does Smith currently make a single stack 9mm, or did they make any others besides the 3913.

Thanks.

They don't make one now, but plenty of other models from the past CS9 for example. Very good quality and ultra reliable.

I was hoping that people would post model numbers of 9mm single stacks other than the two listed above. thanks.

In the 3rd Gen lineage: 908, 909, 3913, 3914, 3953, 3954, 3906, 3904, 3913LS, 3914LS, 3913NL, 3914NL, CS9 & CS9D

All have been discontinued, most can still be found, all are excellent guns.

Their discontinuing of these guns should not in any way deter you from buying. They are plentiful, reliable, and accurate. I have never known one to be finnicky about ammo, and they are inexpensive on the whole. I recommend the 3913/14 for CCW, or if you have large hands (like me) the 39-2.

I just acquired a 3913 a couple of weeks ago. Once the new recoil spring arrives and I spend some range time with it, then it will become my CCW. At least till summer when I may go back to my LCP.

I'm partial to the 3913 and 3914. The 3913 has a stainless steeel slide and alloy frame. The 3914 has a blue steel slide and alloy frame. The 3913 looks nicer and has a low maintenance finish, but for some ,reason, I prefer the 3914.

Whatever used gun you buy, consider replacing the recoil spring. Wolff makes great springs and Midway USA sells the factory counterpart at a significantly lower price.
