Bodyguard 380 and Ruger LCP both conceal completely as well in the WATCH POCKET of the All American jeans.

I am on a waiting list for the new LCP Custom model with the red aluminum trigger. I carry a .45 off of the farm, but need a pocket pistol for when I am out mowing, etc. I never owned a DAO pistol before and bought the BG .380. The trigger is too long for me, so I am selling it NIB as soon as I get the Ruger. It has never been fired, I dry fired it once and knew I could not live with the trigger.

I've never liked pocket carry. Its slow, awkward and uncomfortable to me. Not to mention that its darn near impossible to draw while seated.
I only pocket carry when I have no other choice. Then it will be my Colt Mustang XSP or one of a couple of tiny .25acps I own depending on the size of the pocket. But this is a rare occasion and I try to keep it that way.
I know that pocket carry is quite popular. If it works for you, then more power to ya. But I try to avoid it as much as possible.

I have no problem pocket carrying 2" J frames in a DeSantis Nemesis holster. LCRs also work.

But then I wear baggy pants -- and there is no point in my switching to tight pants as it would make me look worse.

I'm optimally designed for baggy and lumpy.

i got rid of my LCP last year... and promptly replaced it with the newer LCP custom. it rides in a galco horsehide pocket holster with the ruger 7 round mag in it. i carry a spare in the offhand pocket in a galco suede mag holder. caliber aside, it fills a role no other can. LOVE my LCP and will continue to do so for many years to come.

My wife and I have an agreement. I don't pick her clothes if she doesn't pick mine. :D

I don't wear clothes that look like a loose fitting sack, but a little breathing room is nice. I have come to really like pocket carry. Not always as I find a single stack 9 (or my 642) is quite comfortable and light, carried IWB. As to pocket carry, most often it has been my 642. For those times when the cylinder is a bit bulky, my Kahr CW380 fits the bill. After Ruger recently lowered the price of their LCPs, I picked up a stainless one for a great price. Now I have two guns that fill the occasional need for a super small, ultra light weight gun.

I like options. I also like comfortable clothes. :p

Don't trust a 380 to have enough penetration.

38 special + P is the least I carry. I always have my S&W M&P 340 (no lock) with Crimson Trace on me. I like the Gold Dot 135 gr + P short barrel. House carry also, ALWAYS. There are NO good neighborhoods!

My primary carry is a S&W model 21 44 special or an S&W model 696 44 special. Except for the gym you can always find an 44 special on me. I think it's a cult thing.

It's your life and your choice. Every decision has consequences. Paraphrase from Clint Smith, your gun should be comforting not necessarily comfortable.

I guess I'm a bit backwards, I just replaced my Kahr P380 with a M/642-Pro. I carried that Kahr for several years but there's just something about a revolver that makes me happy. I wear Carhartt relaxed fit jeans and the 642 does fill the front pocket. If I look closely I can see the backstrap but I don't think anybody else can. As it's still winter, I usually wear a sweatshirt which covers the top of my pocket. Come spring/summer I may have to go back to the 380, time will tell. I carry the 642 in a Targa inside pocket holster and two Bianchi speed strips in my back pocket. The Kahr is in a DeSantis Nemisis pocket holster with one spare mag in my back pocket.

The LCP trigger isn't much better. Dumped mine and went with the G42. A bit bigger but much easier to shoot.
