Here is my first go at stippling. I ground down one of my tips on my soldering iron to get a pretty small mark. I like the look of it aesthetically and it feels like I could put more rounds thru it in one sitting without too much abrasion. Obviously I went more aggressive on the backstrap. Trigger guard is done too which I really like the feel of.
I also left off certain areas- where the trigger guard meets the grip and under the beavertail(if it's even called that on a poly gun?) Seems like a lot of contact/movement with the recoil in those areas so I left them off.
Tried to keep the angles of the stippled areas lining up with the established lines/angles already on the gun.
What do you think??
