I got my smartcarry today in the mail and after about 30 minutes of getting the adjustment right I have to admit it is awesome. I wear shorts all the time without a belt and with smartcarry under my short and a t-shirt untucked you can't even see any bulge at all of my glock 30. I travel a lot and even sitting it's comfortable. Anyone else carry in smartcarry?

How about a pic from a skeptical observer...

I like mine pretty well, though I have to say that I notice bulges unless I take a great deal of care in placing the gun. Sitting down, I find that bulges are quite evident. (With any kind of a cover garment like an untucked shirt, of course, bulges are hidden. But isn't the purpose of the SmartCarry to enable concealed carry without a cover garment?)

I used this carry method quite a lot a few years ago, but I've really moved away from it and only use it occasionally now.

Pleated pants.
Works even when sitting. (Carry at 10 o'clock instead of 12 o'clock.)
Charlie had a good idea and good execution.

I've got pleated pants and I find that they minimize the degree to which the bulge is visible, but there's still very obviously something there when I'm seated. And, since the entire world knows I'm a gun guy, my office mates might suspect what it is.

And I'm not inexperienced with SmartCarry or biased against it. I always carry slightly off centerline, and I've been wearing SmartCarry for years (I have two in different sizes and am considering buying a third) and have futzed with it in every way possible - it's okay for what it is, but let's not pretend it can render a bulky handgun invisible under reasonably fitted pants.

To be honest, I think it probably depends on your build and the fit of your pants. I have an athletic build and it would require clown pants to provide sufficient fullness to make the SmartCarry invisible when I'm seated. I'm able to minimize it, but I can always discern it and others can as well.

Lucky, I've done serious mountain biking with a SmartCarry on, and I think it is absolutely wonderful in that role. It does not interfere with my movement or power, yet the gun is always easy to get should you encounter a PO'd black bear after rounding a boulder into it and its cubs.
