I saw my first one of those at a show in Houston last month. I didn't know they made an L frame in that design.

I carry mine almost every day.

The Models 242 & 296 are the only L frame Centennials ever made as far as I know..
The 242 is a 7 shot 38 Spl +P & the 296 a 5 shot 44spl..
That first pic looks familiar, It's DC7s..
Revolver_King who cut the titainium cylinder for the moon clips?? Very Cool with the CTC Lasergrips & Big Dot Nightsight too..

R-K did you have Mark cut yours for moon clips?
Plus it is a 38 instead of a 357?

John, Yes mark did the moon clip conversion. it is just 38 +P. One of my favorite guns.I don't know why they stopped making them. It is a great gun

Headknocker is right; that's my old 242. I sold it last year along with this matching 296:
