Gents,

I'm trying to get a realistic estimate of the value of this piece. I can't find this specific model in Supica's book and only found 1 example on a "sale" site that listed at over 2K, new with box according to the description.

This one is not new, not a NIB collector piece but in nice shape. It does have evidence of holster use and a nick on the trigger guard. I've tried to get a few pics for I'm so sorry I'm a lousy photographer. Was this model only produced for a short time? Scandium frame and a 2 piece barrel I believe. NG stands for "night guard" as the reason for it to be light weight with 8 rounds rather than 6.

I do have the original blue S&W box and all the paperwork and lock that came with it.

Any and all comments would be appreciated. Feel free to take a shot at the poor photos. If you really need to see something specific and very clear, I can try to get someone to assist with pics.

I have one but definitely wouldn't sell it. Over the years, I've watched them sell for $1300-$1600 FWIW.

I've owned many similar variations of the 327 but the NG has always eluded me. I find that model highly desirable. I would expect a need to replace the tritium sights, however I'd pay $1000 all day.

I wondering if any of the knowledgable members here can discern the years these were made and the approximate production number produced? I've been asked by a couple interested friends and I can't find it listed in my Supica book.

Based on what it took to purchase a 386PD and a 386SC MountainLite recently, I'd guess north of $1,000 but south of $1,500.

And that's a guess.
