Smith 586

I have a Smith and Wesson 586 that I love but it has the red ramp front site that I detest. I missed a big deer with my 29 Classic due to that site. My 29 Classic now sports a partridge site as it's interchangeable. There is no evidence of a way to change the front site on my 586. Am I missing something? Is it, indeed, interchangeable? I want a partridge badly.

I know what you are saying--I can't spell neither.
I would think you could get it from S&W--probably they would do the work.
BTW---I like red ramps a lot.
