I am looking for some magazine's for my Smith 659. Will the 59 series magazine work in the pistol? If not do you know were I might be able to find some. Thanks.

Yes, 59 and 59XX series mags will work fine.

Yep I have a 659, I have three of the original metal floorplate magazines that came with it, but I normally use 15rd Mec-Gar mags, and when I carry it I use 17rd Mec-Gar mags.

Never a single problem with any of them, and they all fit the gun great as well with no slop.

There are also S&W factory 20rd mags for your dbl stack 9mm,
if your in a state that allows them.
