I have a Smith and Wesson 1000 shotgunnew in box still has price tag on it how much is it worth

I have a 3000 pump i bought new in 1983. It’s never let me down.

I agree $450.00 to $550.00. I had a 3000 set up for SWAT. I've been looking for a NIB 1000.

Didn't they have steel receivers? Great looking guns. Sure looks like at least $500 to me. Lot nicer than some cheap made stuff today.

The standard 2 3/4" chamber guns have an aluminum alloy receiver. The 3" Magnum guns have a steel receiver as do the 2 3/4" chamber Slug, Trap, and Super Skeet models.
