Ranger Rick used to cast and sell them but for whatever reason he has shut down so he doesn't sell them anymore. I bought enough when he was in business so I haven't needed any for a while. If and when I do I'll probably just have a mold made.
I'm sure someone else has stepped in to take his place but at this point in time I don't know who.

I cast a bunch of 700 grain solids and 650 grain hollow points recently, as well as quite a few 420 grain hollow points. PM or email me, I'd've be glad to sell you what you need at a reasonable price. Can size to. 500 or .501.@?

Check out StrongArm Ballistics talk to George he will help in every way from bullet to a little info on what you want then he runs his program and gives you all the info you want call him at 812-649-9144 or at [email protected] is a great source for custom 500 bullets enjoy Dave.

Ranger Rick loved all the moose missile class stuff.
some time ago he was selling off a good handful of his spare molds.
I had made a mold for him quite some time ago. that was one of the most difficult I had ever attempted.

Been reloading for my 500 but have not been unable to find the 700 grain bullets. Any help would be appreciated!

mattsbullets.com has them and other great gas check styles for great prices. i had emailed rick ranger amd he pointed me to matt

load data i used was from reloadammo.com

recoil with the 700s is stiff to say the least

Wow! Had no idea the 500S&W shot a 700gr. bullet. I'm going to read up on this.

Thanks for the tip! :D

Look it up on youtube. I can't post a link, but search for "500 mag with 700 grain bullet" If you found the video that features a gentleman who sounds like Hank Hill from King of the Hill....that's the one!

I think I'll stick with the bullets in the 300-400 grain range...

The 500 wad cutter on the right weighs 725 grains.

That is over half a pound of lead in a fully loaded revolver.

Here is a loaded wad cutter pictured along side a Factory Remington 41 Magnum 250 grain ore cast hunting load.

This cracks me up everytime.

45ACP loaded vs 700gn bullet.

A 700 grain pistol bullet? You could hollow out the nose of it and ride in it to the target.
