Smith and Wesson BB Guns

I picked up two NIB ( one box crappy....warped like it got wet) Model 79G, and 78G in with a collection of Revolvers. Unopened C02 cartridges and BB's & Pellets!

Guns are MINT.......

Little history off site below:
This air pistol was manufactured by Smith & Wesson based on designs from a former Crosman engineer, which explains the close resemblance of the action of the 78G and 79G to the Crosman Mark I & II. The 78G is .22 cal and the 79 G is .177 cal. Early models of these guns had adjustable triggers, but this specimen is a later model with a non-adjustable trigger. From 1971 to 1973, these guns were made in Tampa, Florida. In 1973, S&W moved production from Florida to Springfield, Massachusetts. In 1978, production was moved back to Tampa and remained there until S&W sold their airgun division to Daisy in 1980. Daisy manufactured versions of the S&W guns as the Daisy 780 (22 cal), Daisy 790 (177 cal), and Daisy 41 (177 cal).

good luck. bet the O rings are dry cracked they will leak a cyl off in about 5 min
There is a guy in FL that has the good O rings "vinton" I think they work

Thanks a lot. Good link! I picked em up with an old Model 41, with 5 diff barrels, ( including 22 short!) weight, mags etc. MINT COND..... A bunch of Revolvers also...1950 Military 44....
These happened to be in the mix as I bought everything the guy had. Had never come across the bb/pellet guns....

I bought a lot of stuff from a guy and he has 4 more I need to go back for. He has a Lever BB Rifle.....Smith... and a Smith and Wesson prop gun like used in movie "Taking of Pelham One Two Three.... and a couple more revolvers is all he has left... I bought everything he had.
Not into BB guns.... took em because I don't just take the good stuff in a situation like that.... I take everything.
I'll probably sell them or trade them off for something. In that purchase I picked up a Model 41 with 5 barrels, barrel weight, 22 LR AND 22 Short barrels... in mint condition.....made in 1959.....

I will take the lever action BB gun when I go back, again, because I don't just pick thru the GOOD when I am doing a good deal!
