and thats all. By this picture, is that what
it is and is it worth $450 for a shooter?

Thanks,
Gary

Gary, I'm no expert, but I believe this is definitely pre-war. You might want to post this on the pre-war section. As for the price, it seems high, but those guys will know for sure. Good luck and glad to see you posting here!

Sorry, Newbie mistake

Looks like a pre-WWII K frame with replacement stocks on it, the checkering just isn't right for factory stocks; they also look like they extend past the bottom of the grip frame, which K-frame service stocks don't do. There supposedly were quite a few of these (10,000+) made in 32 long, but they are very rarely seen, so I don't know what the price of one should be. If I had the money I would be willing to pay the $450 price, but unfortunately I don't have any spare gun funds right now.

I have a Nickel one.....

It is really a nice gun, and I paid around $400 for this one....LN.
Why do you want it? As a collector gun, it seems high.As a shooter, you might try to find a target version, although much rarer.

Very, very nice one , at that!

I have over 5000, 32 cal. cast lead bullets that need shot.

Not real picky J frame 3" or 4" would be just fine too.

Yes, it's an I frame and those are factory Extension Stocks.

You may look a long time to find a .32 for less than $375, then again you might find one tomorrow. It looks like a very nice shooter.

T-Time...Good for you! I just bought a Regulation Police in .38 S&W and LOVE it.

I have a .32 also.

Those are beautiful stocks. You will enjoy that gun. I'm a sucker for Regulation Police S&Ws...pre and post war.

I-frame guns until the early nineteen sixty's.

Bob

My fear now, is how good it will shoot.
Pop can, free hand at 20yds and I will
be happy. Will it fit Ok in an J frame
holster?

Thanks,
Gary
