Thank you

Thanks Jeff! I'm 22 years old and just got my first S&W revolver and I wanted a classic. Have been collecting handguns for a little over a year now. Attached a photo of the gun.

Great gun, you'll like it a lot I think. Bought my first 27-2 when I was about your age, use to shoot woodchucks with it in Vermont. Still have it 50 years later. . . .along with a few more.

Take a look at joining the SWCA, and bring some of your friends. We need to keep the love of S&W's going. Hope to see you here often.

Your 27-2 is a very good start into the world of S&W revolvers, and other firearms and related products.

Do stick around! :)

... and a classic is what you purchased.:) That is a wonderful gun and I agree with Jeff, it most likely shipped in 1980 or 1981.

Welcome to the forum. We hope that you come back often!

I would say that the model 27 is the nicest revolver S&W has ever made!

22 years old huh? Well young man, I think that you're going to have a long time to deal with the S&W virus, welcome, and check into the office regularly.
