It started with the brand new stainless classic hunter .44 mag.
Added a 1917, Brazil or South America, something.
.357 Highway Patrolman for his mom to shoot porcupines in Montana because the Ruger .22 didn't get it done with 1 shot.
He got it back when she died.
.44-40 model 3 nickel DA
.44-40 model 3 blued SA
And then he wanted a .45acp. At a Mesa, AZ gun show, I saw one that was "1955 target model". He was in a different area of the building, so I asked him if he found one. He said he found 2 and showed them to me. Didn't you see that one over here? I asked. We went to the table, and he got real quiet. He put down the bag of magazines he had bought and asked the man if he could look at it. I could tell he wanted it. The guy said you have an eye for good guns. Dropped the price $25, hubby asked if we could buy it, I said yes.
It is his favorite gun in the S&W collection.
