Smith model 57 and 19-3...

Two more I was able to trade into this
past weekend.
Model 57 1975 vintage and a model 19-3 which
dates to 1970.
Both excellent plus condition.
Randall 1911 for the 57 .
S&W 629 ND 8 3/8 for the 19
Good show all in all.

Some will argue that a P&R 629 is a keeper vs. a high condition 19-3, but I understand. Those long tube N frames are just a ton of muzzle-heavy iron in the hand and aren't for everyone (including me). I tap out at the 6.5" mark.
 
I miss going to the Texas gun shows. Much fun watching the Branch Davidians and the Texas Militia squeeze past all the under cover ATF agents. ;) Did some body say DIAS. :eek:
