It appears to be a .22/32 Kit Gun from the mid-1950's.
As Guy posted above, it's a .22/32 Kit Gun, "Model of 1953 New I frame", a 4 screw version which likely shipped in mid 1956.
It has the 4" barrel and round butt options.
Hope that's what you wanted to know.
