Your submission gets the prize for most confusing first post. What help do you want? Based on your serial number, my best guess is that your revolver was shipped late in 1907 and is a 4th model. A more complete description would also assist if you want additional information: barrel length, finish (nickel or blued), grips, condition. Pictures are invaluable.

I suspect you are somewhere in Europe!

Really very little can definitely be said based on the extremely limited information you give, but let me make a couple of guesses what you meant.

If by ".38 short shot" you mean the gun is chambered in .38 S&W, not .38 Special, then this limits the possibilities to four models.

1) .38 Double Action 3rd Model, 1884-1895
2) .38 Double Action Perfected Model, 1909-1920
3) .38 Safety Hammerless 4th Model, 1898-1907
4) .38-200 Model, ca. 1940-1945, its post WWII variant and the Model 11

The .38 DA has an exposed hammer. The .38 Hammerless has a hammer concealed within the frame. The Perfected model has a thumb operated latch like the solid frame guns, in addition to the latch on the barrel. All three of these are top-break revolvers. The .38-200 is a solid frame gun and is mechanically identical to the .38 Spl. Military and Police but chambered in .38 S&W. If your subject line is accurate it narrows things down to Item 3. Can't tell you anything more.

Pictures would help!!!!
