I just got a new 41 today with the 5.5" barrel, went to the range and shot a couple of rds,and about every third rd it jammed, like it was not feeding correct, Got it home and was looking at the mag, and its looks like the bullet fits to tight in the follower, so i open up both sides just a little, had know where to fire it to test, so I just pulled the slide back by hand as fast as i could and it never jammed again, is this common to have to tune the mags.

Deformed magazine feed lips are probably the number ONE malfunction of pistol magazines.
