Smith Wesson 43c quality

Just bought a smith Wesson 43c and after cleaning I can see this angle gap on on the forcing cone. Seems like it was shaven off incorrectly during the manufacturing process. Sort of disappointed in S&W quality and makes me rethink about buying a 340

Not square, not correct

Definitely not square to the cylinder face. That's disappointing craftsmanship. Considering the end use of the gun, probably won't make much difference in FUNCTION, but it isn't correct.
