OK Folks, first time for seeing the gun in person tonight. It looks like new and looks way better in person than in the pics and they just don't do it justice. I'll have the money when my disability check comes in, which should be in 1 week from tonight (Friday). So in about a week, maybe a couple days after, I'll own the gun and have it in my possession for good. I'm super excited to be able to get it. Also he has a Springfield Armory XD-9 3" sub compact with accessory kit that is brand never in box never been shot, that I'm buying from him for $350 and will be having the money for it and picking it up at the beginning of February. I'm super excited.

by the way. the serial number on the Model 439 is TBK67** can someone tell me when the gun was likely made
I think you're getting a great deal. I love the 1st and 2nd generation S&W. autos.

He probably would have if it wasn't for me already making the deal. He tried selling it to several gun dealers before he told my dad (his brother) that he was trying to sell it, but none of the gun dealers were interested. They said people don't buy those kind of guns anymore.

I got my gun at the beginning of the month, however due to my father being in the hospital, critically ill for a few days, I haven't been able to post pictures. Any way I got 2 new guns this month, the 439 and a Cobra C22M .22 mag derringer from a pawn shop. Here are pictures of both.
