Yes the model 1000M and the one I have is the 1000 Super12. Superb shotgun. Took out thr duck plug, replaced the rubber o ring or shock buffer, and cleaned the gunk out of it and it will shoot any 2 3/4" or any 3" magnums

Welcome to the forum.

The Model 1000 Super 12 is a fine shotgun that can fire light 2 3/4" loads and heavy 3" Magnum loads without making any changes to the gun. Only Super 12 barrels fit and can be used on the Super 12, they do not fit any other Model 1000 series shotgun.

The 1000M can use 2 3/4" or 3" chamber barrels. For the 1000M to work reliably with 2 3/4" shells it is recommended to use a 2 3/4" chambered barrel. Model 1000 barrels chambered for 3" shells only fit the Model 1000M receivers.
