A lifelong friend inherited a Model 39-2 from his father. Knowing that I like guns, he asked me to clean it for him. Overall it is in good shape, but the decocker was very stiff, but with a bit of CLP and swabs and patches, got it cleaned up and working well. I loaded the magazine with dummy rounds and it seems to function well. Still need to get it to the range and run some ammo through it. Serial number is A681118, so I know it was made after 1970, but would love to be able to tell him when the gun was made.
