The pistol works fine no missfeeds, hang ups nothing but when i disassemble it for cleaning n i go for reassemble it will slide on but once i get to the point were the slide meets the hammer it will not go further .... So I did some trouble shooting n it led me to having to remove the hammer mainspring so the hammer would be able to be moved back for the slide to be pulled back for me to insert the slide lock lever if anyone know why its doing this please help!!!

Check the cup the mainspring compresses into, there may be a bur or damaged edge that is catching a coil on the spring.

Another, and more common, issue with reassembling the S&W metal receiver pistols is the recoil spring guide rod and that tiny, semi-circular notch in the bottom of the barrel that is supposed to capture the head of the guide rod. A worn guide rod head or a worn or poorly machined notch in the barrel can allow the guide rod to be slightly out of correct position and alignment when reassembling. The result of a misalignment is a slide that goes back just far enough to contact the hammer, but no further because the guide rod is preventing the barrel from camming down. Wiggling the portion of the guide rod that is protruding from the front of the slide is sometimes enough movement to get the guide rod into alignment and allow the barrel to cam down, then the slide can move fully to the rear.

Did not work i figured of out tht the firing pin safety is getting hung up on the firing pin plunger so I don't know what to at this point n the spring for the firing pin safety lever is weak too

Have you disassembled the frame, is the decock lever in the frame?
The safety lever spring should be weak but will (not should) be depressed when the decock lever is pressed down.

The only time I have ever had a problem with the firing pin safety lever catching on the plunger was on the early frame mounted decock only pistols (5924, 1076, etc.). I thought I lost the spring so installed one when it should not have been. One lever - no spring, two levers - spring.

No it's on the slide
