I was at a local pawn shop today and had a moment of weakness...I had previously came in last week and made him an offer of $350 and he refused...so I came back and tried again anyway and got it for $350. I never see these, this is actually the first one i've seen in person, and i've been into Smiths since 2007. It's a 13-1 and the serial # puts it in the 1974 year of manufacture. Pics are below :) FYI...I think someone dropped it or cut the hammer.

Very nice 13-1. Hard to tell in the photo, however, if the hammer has been altered, you should be able to find a replacement from someone here on the forum. Are there any unusual markings on the gun? There are some 13's with a bobbed hammer that bear the importers initials VT. The stocks also appear to be replacements as the gun usually shipped with service walnut Magnas.

Your persistence paid off. You hung in there and got the gun for your original offer. I really think that in this economy, a buyer with cash is worth a premium.:D

You will feel better for a while. There are many variable factors that will determine the length of this interem period, and it cannot be predicted with certainty or exactness. But eventually, the symptoms will return. Try not to worry.

Get as much rest as you can because there is no cure. Congratulations
