Smooth target N-frame trigger

Been toying with the idea of shooting my 29 Classic 6.5" gun. Been a safe queen since the early '90s.

Notice the trigger edges are sharp and it just feels uncomfortable as is. Is there someone could polish out the grooves, reshape it or maybe just replace the trigger entirely?

I never noticed this issue years ago when I was shooting 29s regularly...

If it were me, I wouldn't grind it smooth. I would either lightly stone it to take the sharp edges off or replace it with a smooth one.

Good serrated triggers that havent been bubba'd are getting harder to find.

You should be able to replace the trigger with a .400-inch wide smooth trigger. They were available as an option for many years.

SOP for me with any DA shooter I own is to remove the grooves on the face of the trigger with a die grinder and then round off the edges of the trigger, then take some sanding cloth and polish the face of the trigger until it is mirror smooth, then blue it if necessary.....For DA shooting I use the narrow service triggers like we have on the 58's or 28's for these mod's, replace the target trigger with the narrow trigger and put the target trigger away for another day.
Numrich has the .265 serrated for $49.80 #309310...they list the .312 smooth, but it is "sold out" as are the .400's.

Thanks for the comments. Looks like SDM Fabricatingg in Ohio could do it. Will contact them tomorrow.
