Just found out that the green smoothie that I've been drinking lately is called a Marguerita......

Also when filling out the questionnaire at the new doctors office "as needed" is not an appropriate response to the question "How often do you drink"?
I need to find an older chain smoking scotch drinking doctor with an FFL who understands me like my original doctor did. I miss him a lot.

Would you settle for bourbon?

I knew a doc. who loved Martinis and smoked a corn cob pipe. Fred was a great guy. He was a USAF flight surgeon in his younger days.

Here ya go Caj...:eek::eek:

Ingredients:

1 oz. cream of coconut
1¼ oz. Johnny Walker Black Scotch
½ oz. Bailey's Irish Cream

When blending frozen drinks, always use a high-performance commercial blender. Put liquid ingredients in the jar first. Follow by adding solid ingredients such as fruit and ice.

I am just about to make myself a fresh homemade Margarita! I use 1800 Silver Tequila, Fresh squeezed lime juice, home made Simple Syrup and of course Cointreau. Shake with some ice and serve with a thin slice of Lime floating in it. I leave out the salt in the rim but that's just a personal thing.

I've had some great Margarita's in a few restaurants but do not care much for the pre-mixed bottles they sell in supermarkets and liquor stores. By making them myself it allows me to tweak them just the perfect way. There is a very fine line between too sweet and too bitter.

They're out there

My uncle taught me to shoot and hunt. In all respects he was the uncle every boy should have. Best fishing and hunting buddy I've ever had.

He was a cardiologist, BS from Princeton 1954, and MD from Washington University Med School in St. Louis. He became quite well known and was very good at what he did.

He taught me to drink martinis and smoke cigars. I always thought it was rather like a form of job security for his profession.

Thanks Caj, I needed that.

I've been down to Dallas once while my wife was attending a Mark Kay Cosmetics Hoe-Down. It was 180 degrees and 98% humidity, I got up and had a nice breakfast, stepped outside the fancy hotel and it felt like a forest fire was blazing. I went back into the hotel, up to the room, pair of swimming trunks and to the pool we go. Well sir, the pool was huge and had an island in the middle (Lowes Anatole), I put my "their" towel on a lounger and stepped into the water, waded out to the bar on the island and grabbed a stool, sitting up to my chest in cool water. The bartender is serving what looked like slurpies into red cups. He asked me what I'd have and I told him "I have no money with me." To which he replied "Your room key is just like a credit card." It is?????? I learned that the green slurpies were marguerites, the orange onces were sunrises and the white ones were Pinya Colotniks. I also learned that Dallas has more beautiful women than anywhere outside of Iceland. I had to apologize to the lovely woman seated next to me because I thought she was a hooker, she told me "No thats just Southern Hospitality Honey."

Under ALLERGIES I always put “WORK.” Very few medical folks get it. I think they train the sense of humor out of them these days. Or perhaps they are just tired of dealing with old fools.

Whenever I've had medical procedures and get asked if I am allergic to anything I always respond with"hard work and ugly women". Never fails to get a smile, laugh or funny remark.
Dr's can be so professional sometimes they forget to be human. My late Urologist was a great guy. We spent 10 minutes on my treatment and 30 minutes talking guns, shooting and load development. Don't encounter many like him.
