Snagged a nice Pre-29

Congratulations on your outstanding 4-screw .44 Magnum, and the presentation case is a big plus! That's a real beauty and almost ANIB, and the fact that it was fairly local so that you could buy it directly from the shop saved you some serious cash. I picked up my 4-screw a few years ago...it didn't sell and timed out on GB so I made the seller a private offer. I think we were both happy. Mine (S177963; shipped 1958) came with a much later mahogany presentation case but the price of those cases has skyrocketed lately so I'm good. I wish that all S&W N-frame revolvers came with Coke bottle stocks. They are beautiful stocks and perfectly fit my big mitts. Enjoy!

You didn't mention how much you paid for it, so we have to assume you stole it!
I think a call to the Police is in order here! 🤣🤣
Great grab, thanks for sharing! 👍😉

Thanks! It actually was shipped to me in New York from South Dakota. Mine is S177343 and shipped in April of 1958. I also think that "cokes" are the nicest grips that S&W ever made. I have two very nice extra sets in the safe in the event that I find a gun in need.
