Snow predicted for S/E Texas....

I know big whoop for you Northern boys.
Tomorrow I'm gonna hook'em from the naked city and be in deer camp by 1400hrs. Never hunted while snowin.
Deer hunting has been a bit slow this season maybe this
will get them movin.
Seems like the rut here lasts about 20 minutes.
I sure miss my woods time since takin this job last December

The same system is also headed here. We're under a winter storm watch begining tomorrow night. It could be three or more inches according to the NWS. Moisture from the Gulf is supposed to hit cold air from the north. I've never seen snow around here that didn't come out of the gulf. I'll believe it when I see it. You should see people trying to drive on one of the rare snows we get around here. The last time I worked in the snow we couldn't keep up with all of the wrecks.

We got 3 inches in El Paso two days ago from that same storm. It's spitting snow now and we are due for some more tomorrow. You'll get it in a few more days.

It's turned cold here too! 32 right now, with a high of 40, and lows in the 20s. Makes me think I'm back in Michigan! I haven't heard of any snow in the forecast, other than flurries. I remember the deer woods of Michigan. We always hoped for snow, it makes it a lot easier to see a deer amongst all that brown. And it sure was a lot prettier! Now I hate both cold and snow!

Funny how different areas treat snow. In NY, we need a prediction of about 12 inches or more of fluff before the stores get cleaned out. Guess we're just numb to the snowfalls.
