The .38 only 640 is my favorite steel J frame (same gun as yours but in .38). You've got a really nice one there and very desireable. A keeper for sure!

I like mine in .32 Magnum. Top to bottom: Model 632 Airweight, Model 631 Lady Smith, Model 631.

Another 627 customer. Also carry a 649 or 686 at times, all snubbies. Wife has the 638.

My favorites are the satin nickle Model 38's. Course I also have a few 60's 642's and 442's.
