It often seems that I'm the only who has an enjoyable Christmas these days. My company is doing OK (honest!), my health is excellent-just turned 60. Christmas Eve I went to a friend's church, then to mine, spent the evening with friends. Christmas Day I participated in the annual reenactment of Washington's Crossing of the Delaware, then to my brother's for good food, good company. My gifts were well received, I got $$$, my favorire gift.

Mine was great. Spent the whole day with the wife doing nothing AND started my vacation

I lived upriver near Stockton, NJ and I always wanted to go down and see that re-enactment, but you guys do it on Christmas!

You my friend are truly blessed. Wouldn't it be wonderful if those of us who have found peace, harmony, and good health could figure out a way to share it with the less fortunate that deserve the gift we could offer.

We had a very nice family Christmas the weekend before Christmas with our daughters and their families leaving Christmas day for them to enjoy with their own children in their homes. On Christmas Day my wife and I went for a drive to the beaches of South Florida and found a restaurant for lunch and warmer weather than we had in Orlando. It was enjoyable.

Our Christmas was great.. we had all the family together for the first time in 15 years.. Kids.. Grandkids.. Brother, Sister..
16 people in all... lotta laughs.. good times TOO much food..
We were truly blessed..

Good one here. Had a bit of drama Christmas morning. Plan was to gather at my mother's, about 2 miles away, to open gifts then back to our house for a meal and lounging. Mom's neighborhood was without power so we loaded the gifts up and brought them to our house which is what should have been done in the first place. First time in the 52 years mom has lived there that gifts weren't opened there. Mom's health is failing but she had a very good day Christmas and really enjoyed herself.

Worked out well. I let my Obama loving bil sit in my recliner and we had a mild political discussion just so I could let him show his ignorance. If I'm in my chair, my little dog, Barney, is on the foot of the chair. He totally snubbed bil. :D

It was just another day for us. We celebrate Christmas all year long and so far the wife has done better than me. She's gotten a Marlin 1894 .38/357, a double barreled 20ga and a Remington 597. All I got was a S&W 1911 rail model:)

Chrismas Eve was a nice surprise. Got together with the the in-laws and it went well. No fist-fights, no pizzing contests, not even a shouting match.
I hardly recognized most of them.
