So I bought a fake Eotech from a guy...

My opinion is, I think the EOTech copies will work just fine on a small caliber gun like the .22lr. But on a larger caliber gun with a lot more recoil I don't think I would trust it for holding zero.

I may be wrong, but I think they were originally made for the airsoft guns.

Does the "Zombie stopper" clone or original, work with the iron sights and/or folding sights?

I don't see why not. You have a pretty broad field of view through Eotech sized sights. If it happened to be too low, they do make risers for these sights.

I had a cheap nc star mini hud for 90 bucks at the gun show. I bought it for the same reason, bought a new ruger mark 3 22/45 with the pickatiny rails and threaded barrel. So didnt want to shell out a ton on a sight, ill be cheap for once in my life. It wrked for 3 months, and I tossed it, Just got a used Trijicon RMR with low pro mount. You can realy tell the difference in quality. That being said ive got a 30mm truglo red dot on a 1/2 truglo riser mount for ar's on my new 15-22 and it cowitness's perfect with factory sights. 600+ vs. 125 is alot, but im very happy with both.
