I was sitting in the man cave, with a glass of bourbon, fondling my favorite woods carry 44 ctg HE and a thought crossed my mind. If I am loaded for bear should I also carry an extra speedloader of a different weight bullet nose in case of Coyotes. Thoughts to ponder.

If you’re loaded for bear, is rye preferable to a wheated bourbon, and how much bourbon would one need to consume to be properly loaded?

(And for the record, the OP brought up the bourbon thing...of which I highly approve.)

Personally, I’m up for a Woodford Master Collection. It’ll certainly take care of that loaded thing, and the bottle makes for a handy club...after it’s empty, of course.

For coyotes, I’m thinking something something Westernly... Bulleit, Breckinridge, or one of the High West blends.
