Soap scam exposed!!!!

Y'all do understand that if your bar soap came in the same design as Smith and Wesson combat stocks you'd pay twice the price for it.

And not bitch.

:D

I thought that the bar of soap would have been hollow in the middle. Kinda like those chocolate Easter bunnies.

Maybe I shouldn't give'm any ideas

The only soap that you can buy in full size bars (7oz.) these days is imported- Colgate Octagon. It runs about $1.00 per bar, but they do last a long time.

My wife likes Kirk's Castille soap, but it doesn't have huge bars either.

My favorite brand coffee is Community. A bag of it last year weighed 16 oz. I still have one as a souvenier. A bag this year is 12 oz and they charge a dollar more for it than they did before reducing the size by 25%.

Now I only buy it when it is on sale and buy several bags at once. Right now I have 11 bags of it in the pantry.

We went to liquid soaps 10 + years ago. There is no waste and it is easy to use. I am reminded of the co-worker that takes home all the soap from every motel he stays at. cheap, cheap cheap.

The knowledge that one can gain from this site is astronomical. Just goes to show that no thread title, no matter how simple it may seem, is not worth opening, ya just never know how educating it can be, and the knowledge just keeps going reply after reply.....let alone funnier and entertaining as heck as you scroll down! :D

I have never factored in my financial budget the cost of soap nor its lifespan nor considered high executives drinking latte's eating bear claws discussing how they can rip me off a penny or two... but you can bet your burnt boot I will from now on! Almost one could make a movie from the OP.

Same with propane. The convenience stores sell you what appears to be 20Lbs. in a 20Lb container but it is 15Lbs.net for the price of 20Lbs at a refill place. Sid V.

For years I had been getting Nutro dog biscuits for my two dogs. I paid $10 for a 60 oz. box. Recently they have been disapearing from the pet store shelves. About a month ago they came back, The biscuits have been redesigned, the packaging has been changed to a plastic bag and you now get 32 oz. for $11. The new package looks to be about the same size as the large box was but it has almost half the biscuits in it. Nutro has lost a long time customer. This isn't capitalism - it's greed, plain and simple.

Now it's only seven hotdogs per pack, but still eight buns per pack. I guess it's too hard to package the buns in odd numbers, but it will even up when they go to six hotdogs. At least there's sumthin to look forward to.

And somebody was complaining about political threads...We have now desended into the never never land of soap, and soap on a rope. Soap on a rope the ,,,never mind it would have been tastless I'm sure...And the Devil would have made me say it......

These are the same type of clowns that cut the proof content on Jack Daniels 10 years ago, and said they polled their customers and found the public wanted a Jack Daniels with less alcohol.

I bring home the soap from the hotel rooms-that's what it's there for. Keep them in my DOP kit-ya never know when you are somewhere where there is no soap. Same thing with shampoo.

I'm calling Bovine Waste Matter on THAT explaination
That's why I drink Scotch-some things are sacred.
