Colt Police Positive .38Spec in 4-in - $535 shipped. I have had this very nice Colt .38 for some time. I'm certain it's safe to fire but the condition is too nice to be a range shooter - so here it is. I would call it Excellent condition given it's age - 1958 per Colt SN lookup. There is some variation in the bluing (not rust or patina) on the bottom of the frame in front of the trigger guard, and a very small splotchy area about an inch under the cylinder latch on the sideplate (visible in photo). Bore and chambers are spotless. Tight yoke retention and strong carry-up, and tight lockup. No rust under what appears to be factory grips - the grips are undamaged. Some discoloration visible on both sides of the hammer - more noticeable on one side. Slight variation in the bluing on the backstrap but no rust. Only thing wrong with it is I don't have a Model 60 Pro - the 3-inch upgraded version of the Model 60 - with adjustable sights. Understand I will prolly have to add some cash to a trade for an M60 Pro. Asking $535 shipped for it in a sale. No more of these from Colt, likely ever. No Colt box but will ship well-protected in a decent hard case. "My" FFL uses only UPS or FedEx so it will safely arrive after it's shipped. Please follow all SWF rules. Thanks!
