Trade Interests:
For sale or trade, a 1961 Smith and Wesson Model 19 No Dash, .357 Combat Magnum revolver with the most desirable 4″ barrel with original factory Nickel Finish and 3-T's (Target Grips, Target Hammer, Target Trigger). This, as they say, is what "Old School" Smith & Wesson is truly all about. The Model 19 is one of the most popular revolvers S&W ever produced. Manufactured in 1960, this beauty has desirable features no longer available on today's modern machine-made guns- like a hammer-mounted firing pin, pinned barrel, recessed cylinders, and of course, the absence of that ugly lock. This is what I would consider a very nice shooter grade. It does feature some nice Rosewood Diamond Targets, these are not mint either and do have some dings and a chip. The rear sight also has some whiteout on it, given this is more of a shooter I left it as it was very common to do back in the day. The action and timing on this firearm are dialed in perfectly. I just do not currently have time to shoot with a newborn, plus I need to downsize a little, so my loss is your gain. I do not have the box or documents with this piece, just a classic Smith Revolver. This revolver is NOT for you if you are looking for a mint collector piece, it does have wear and some scratches. However, it still shows its age well, and it is a NO DASH you just do not find these every day. These usually bring a significant premium over every other dash and a blued version. This one I have never shot this (It has been fired, just not by me), I just kept it in the safe as a collector piece, now though since we have a little one. I am trying to downsize my collection a little.
