For sale is an Arisaka Type 99. It's an early war Kokura 21st series. Unfortunately, it's missing all the "extras". No mum, monopod, aa sights. The dust cover is a repro.
I picked this up as a bonus when buying my Type 38. Shot it once with Casto's ammo (if you know, you know) resulting in some gas-blowback and sooty brass. Might have been the ammo since it had bad rep anyway but the chambers are also "loose" as I've learned. It was accurately and functioned well though.
Asking $400 shipped. C&R is okay.
