For Sale is a Bowen Heavy duty 45 Colt. This gun was originally built as a spec gun by Bowen and was sold on his website. I have not shot it but it appears to have been fired very little. The gun is in very good shape. The gun as built by S&W was a 5" gun so Bowen substituted a 4" barrel. Serial number on cylinder is different from frame, and in researching the guns provenance Bowen couldn't find why a different cylinder had been used. As is typical with these guns there is no endshake but does have some lateral cylinder movement. The gun was recently sent back to have the blackpowder chamfer applied to the cylinder. The gun is wearing Culina walnut grips. I was told by a previous owner that the gun is regulated for the Black Hills 45 colt load. Any questions feel free to PM. Inquiries are welcome, but first "I'll take it" gets it. Also will be posting for sale on other boards. 3 day inspection period, but would request that it is not fired. Asking $2950 shipped.
