6" Blued Colt Python.
The serial number indicates that the date of manufacture is 1962.
I purchased this gun from my late cousin's estate.
He was the original owner. I am the second and have never fired the pistol.
I have included a picture of his original NJ permit to purchase, issued in 1962.
My cousin installed a trigger shoe on the gun which I have not removed.
My cousin destroyed the original stocks. I found them in a drawer in his workshop. He had taken a Dremel tool to them in what looked like an effort to contour them to his hand.
When I purchased the gun I bought a set of Colt original period correct (type 2) replacement stocks that are now on the pistol.
I do not have the original box (believe me, I looked everywhere) but it does come with three (3) speed loaders.
Asking $2,500 shipped (or best offer) with payment via USPS Money Order or Certified Bank Check. I am in NJ and will only ship from my FFL to your FFL.
Thanks for looking.
