SOLD! hand made target shooters or NRA Bullseye type 3 gun competition pistol case with spotting scope.
I built this case back in the early 80's when I was very active in a 3 county traveling pistol league. It was designed to hold a .22 cal. auto, a .45 cal. auto and a .38 cal. revolver as shown in the photos (guns and ammo shown are not included in sale) But I'm sure other pistols or revolvers could be held in place with the felt lined clamping device.
The bottom drawer is removable to place right in front of you while shooting and the upper drawer has a built in .22 cal ammo block as well as built in cradle to hold the included Bushnell spotting scope which can be swiveled forward / backward and up or down to meet the shooters eye level.
The handle is made to swivel for comfort in carrying or to move out of the way when the smoked Plexiglas lid is unlatched and moved into position.
The case is built with a sturdy plywood core and covered with diagonal cut aromatic cedar which was sanded and clear coated. The interior was lined with red felt and the hardware is either polished brass or aluminum.
The exterior of the case was refinished a couple of years ago and the brass polished.
