SOLD -- For sale is this pre-Model marked Combat Masterpiece in scarce factory nickel. It has a 4 inch pinned barrel, .38 Special, 6 groove back strap, 5-screw gun. The front sight pins are raised and palpable. All serial numbers are matching except the diamond center Magna stocks. The Magnas look good and fit well but are not serial number matching. A few small scratches can be seen when the gun is turned in bright light. Functions well but I have never shot it as this one has been a safe queen for many years. I could not get a good image of the bore but it looks fine to me. No box, papers or factory letter. Serial is K250049 which I estimate places it around 1955 for a shipment date. Factory nickel finish is established with KN mark on barrel flat and N mark on left side of frame near butt. See all pics below.
Price is $850, including shipping via FedEx. Certified bank funds or money order only, please. However, I will accept a personal check from S&WCA members. This revolver qualifies as a C+R gun so I can ship to a C+R FFL licensee directly (except California where shipment must be to an FFL dealer). Otherwise, I will ship to an FFL dealer only. Buyer must provide the FFL dealer's license to me or arrange for that to be done so I don't have to chase down your dealer. Standard 3-day, non-firing, non-disassembly inspection begins from date delivery is made. Return shipping is at the buyer's expense unless I misstated something here.
