The Luger is Sold Pending Funds.
Beautiful WWII bring back German P.08 "Black Widow" Luger chambered in 9mm parabellum. BYF (Mauser factory) and 41 (date code) marked with all matching external serial numbers (xx63). I purchased this pistol over a decade ago from a reputable Luger collector who told me everything is matching but I have not taken the pistol apart to confirm the internals. The pistol has minimal wear and appears to be mechanically excellent though I have never fired it. Clean bore with sharp rifling (see picture). The finish appears to be the factory original salt blue/black with the hallmark Mauser purple undertones. There is slight wear on the sharp edges and wear at the end of the barrel. The black Bakelite grips appear to be original with some slight pressure marks around the outer edges but no cracks or damage. The pistol appears to be properly marked with Eagle/Acceptance (Swastika) proofs, inspector stamps, but no additional import marks, export marks, or signs of post-war service. The sale includes three magazines with un-serialized black bottoms. I have read conflicting information online about the correct magazines for this pistol. Some sites say it came with a serialized magazine. Others say the black bottom is correct. There are proof marks on the bodies of each magazine (see picture). The pistol came with one magazine, then I purchased the other two in Poland about ten years ago. The proof marks are the same on all three. If I got anything wrong or you need additional information, please let me know. Ships FFL to FFL only. No C&R accepted. No sales to California. Asking $3,900 or Best Offer shipped to the lower 48. The fastest way to reach me is via text at Two Zero One-Four Ten-Seventeen Seventeen. Thanks for looking!
