For sale a real nice S&W Highway patrolman 28-2. The guns got a matte blue finish with some handling marks and signs of poor storage but overall pretty good cosmetically. Shows almost no signs of firing, no forcing cone erosion, no flame cutting, one slight mark on recoil plate (might clean off haven't tried), it still has case coloring on the hammer nose. Of all the smiths I've handled (quite a few) I don't know if I've ever seen a used one that had the case coloring on the hammer nose still. I won't make claims like "factory test fired only!" But I would hazard to guess less than a 100 rounds based on my experience with "like new" guns. Asking $1100
