Hi all,
I have a pair of early 1960s S&W Model 41 Target Pistol 10-shot magazines - Gen1 with the "5" & "10" load stampings. They are made of blued steel (including the followers) and came with my first Mod. 41 with the load indicator, 7 ½" barrel with muzzle break and weights (long gone). Their backs are seam welded and have the "S&W" stamped on the floor plates with the "Lazy Ampersand" as well as the hole to disassemble them for cleaning. They are in great shape for almost 60-year old mags with most of the slight wear at the tops where the magazine is inserted into the grip. No corrosion issues on either of them. $65.00 ea.
I also have three (3) Gen2 (early 70s) Mod. 41 10-shot metal follower magazines with the "5" and "10" load stampings. They are also made of blued steel (including the followers) and came with my second Mod. 41 with a 7" barrel (also long gone). Their backs are also seam welded and have the "S&W" stamped on the floor plates with the "Lazy Ampersand". They, too, have the hole on the floorplate to disassemble them for cleaning. They are in great shape for almost 50-year old mags with most of the slight wear at the tops and some insertion wear on the sides - but no corrosion issues. $55.00 ea.
None of these magazines have the Smith & Wesson logo stamped on the mag bodies (as the newer versions do). And you can have all five (5) metal-follower magazines for $250!
Pics on request.
PMO or PayPal (gift) OK. If you want any of them shipped (for cost, of course), I will send them out via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box with Tracking Number and insurance (if over $100 value).
PM, e-mail or text to my cell (if we've done business before) are all ok.
Many thanks for stopping by,
"Point Blank" Frank
