A gorgeous 1959 vintage S&W 6" 4 screw model 48 .22 MRF with fitted .22 long rifle cylinder. This revolver retains virtually all of its original factory bright blue with no wear I can see except a faint cylinder cylinder turn line. Serial number range is K369XXX. The bore is perfect with sharp lands and grooves. Cylinder timing is spot-on and it locks up like a bank vault. Comes with its original diamond magna stocks numbered to the gun plus a beautiful set of factory Goncalo Alves presentation stocks with black washers. Both sets of stocks are in excellent condition with no defects I can see. The extra .22lr cylinder was added at some point in the revolver's history and is numbered to an earlier K22 or pre-model 17. An early, period correct solid silver stripe factory box numbered to a slightly later model 48, blank warranty card, parts list, anti-rust paper and a complete unopened tool kit complete this package.
