Hi all,
I'm letting go of this gem without even shooting it. I'm sure I'll regret it but it is what it is.
This is a mint condition S&W 624 Lew Horton 3" 44 special with original S&W combat grips. ALW serial prefix, 624 no dash. Includes a beautiful set of wood Hogue grips (similar to JM grips without the logo) that were relieved in the finger groove area to my liking.
I bought this from a large private collection. The pistol is "used" but not my me and there's little evidence that it has been shot at all. It includes an old 686 box that it came in, along with the collectors notes that tell the story of his purchase, date, price, etc.
This is an incredibly rare and sought after revolver.
