**SOLD** S&W model 1917 .45 ACP revolver

A vintage Smith & Wesson 5 1/2" 1917 .45 ACP Brazilian contract 1917 revolver in original condition with matching serial numbers on the barrel, cylinder and frame. This is the earlier version of the 1937 Brazilian contract revolvers built on a commercial S&W frame with the square notch rear sight and a small S&W roll stamp on the left side of the frame. It is in very good mechanical condition with perfect cylinder timing and typical cylinder lock up for a revolver of its age gun. The bore is bright with very good rifling and no pitting. It is a nice shooter grade revolver which comes with the Hogue grips shown in the photos and (3) moon clips. The Tucker HF3, fully lined burgundy leather holster is in as new condition with a hammer thong and would cost $284.00 plus shipping and a several month wait if ordered today.
