Savage Anschutz 141 Sporter 22 long rifle
Earlier equivalent of today's current model 1416D sporter
Utilizing the 64 action,
imported by Savage during their collaboration with Anschutz from 1963-81. The 141's have a slightly shorter barrel than the 164's (22" vs 24") & of course the 'fancier' stock with the contrasting foretip. Mechanically they are identical. The triggers are VERY adjustable, for weight of pull, sear engagement, & overtravel, Grooved receiver Serial #59248X, one 5 shot magazine
Condition is used 75% plus, action & barrel bluing is thin in places, shows some minor surface corrosion, stock finish has scratches & shows finish wear, butt plate shows wear
Anschutz does have a sights available when I emailed them & they confirmed parts are in stock
NEEDS SOME TLC
Believe this one pre dates 1972 so C&R eligible
Found the date stamp on the barrel in front of the receiver
66 it's an early one I believe the front sight is dove tailed brass
Bead marked Marble & other-side 37M
