This is a pre-lock 1996 Smith & Wesson model 29-6 44 Magnum 6'' barrel. Serial number CAZ,xxx. This is a complete set with documents and the correct box with matching factory label on the side. Round butt w correct Hogues with silver S&W emblem. The gun has no scratch, ding or blemish of any kind and the gun shows extra mint. I bought it unfired and I shot no more 3 cylinders of light 44 special handloads through it, carefully cleaned it and stored. Never a 44 magnum fired through it. No flame cut above the forcing cone and no print marks on the backplate, very little turnline. The gun is highly accurate when I shot it. All throats measure precisely at 0.4295 which is not the case with a 29-5 which has oversized throats. The gun has all the best endurance upgrades, a very smooth action and it still has the forged hammer and trigger. I can send any further pictures as needed. Muzzle is perfect too. I have references from previous sales. $890.
